Mission: To Reduce the Cost of
Loss
XL Design Professional is the education leader in today’s
professional liability insurance market. Decades of
experience have given us unique insight into the causes
of professional liability claims and the best loss prevention
solutions.
Working directly with practicing architects and engineers,
as well as expert legal advisors, we develop loss prevention
education and risk and practice management programs
tailored to help you protect your business.
These programs are offered exclusively to policyholders,
and they can help you:
- Reduce the cost of loss
- Prevent professional liability claims
- Improve your risk management practices
- Earn continuing education credits
- Reduce your premium by up to 10 percent each year
Professional Liability Education Program
XL Design Professional offers two core courses and
a number of electives exclusively to policyholders.
These courses are conveniently designed to be administered
on a self- or group-study basis, or delivered locally
or in-house by your XL Design Professional agent or
broker.
Select a course name below to see its description or view the Education Program Matrix (pdf) or Workshop Matrix (pdf), which provide an overview of each course or workshop, identify required participants, display continuing education credit information and outline program materials and completion requirements.
Core Courses: Firms must complete the core courses before they can enroll in an elective course for premium credit.
Elective Courses: Your firm must complete
the core programs before enrolling in an elective course.
And, to qualify for elective premium credit, new personnel
will also be enrolled in “Liability IQ.”
XL Design Professional’s
Risk, Project and Practice Management Workshops:
XL Insurance education programs are registered with the national AIA. Not all states and licensing boards accept these programs for learning units.
